ENGLISH 20th APRIL

how are you? how was your weekend? did you do something fun?

Now that you all know how to speak using the past simple, we are going to start reviewing all the things that we have learned during the course. Easy for you, right? 😛

Today we will revise the verb TO BE and HAVE GOT. If you have your notebook there, check your "to be" and "have got" columns, to remember how to use them.

+ I am tall                                        +  She has got brown eyes
? Are you tall?                                 ? has she got brown eyes?
- I am not tall                                    - She hasn't got brown eyes

Remember that, with "have got", we add an "S" with he/she/it.

What are we going to do today? We are going to describe a person that we admire 😮. It can be your father, your mother, a doctor, a famous person, your cousin... You can describe whoever you want, but it has to be someone that you admire.

You will have to use the verb to be + adjectives (personality and physical appearance) and have got.
I will upload an example with a description of a person that I admire. I will also upload two images to give you some vocabulary for the description.

You will have until THURSDAY to do it. You can do it in a word document or your notebook, I don't mind, but you'll have to send me an email with your description.

Ahora que ya sabéis como hablar en pasado, vamos a empezar a repasar todas las cosas que hemos ido viendo durante el curso, para que cuando empecemos el curso que viene no se os haya olvidado todo. Fácil para vosotros, ¿no?😛

Hoy vamos a repasar el verbo TO BE  y HAVE GOT. Si tenéis vuesta libreta por ahi, cogedla y mirad las tres columnas de los verbos "to be" y "have got" para acordaros de cómo eran.

¿Qué vamos a hacer hoy? Vamos a describir a una persona que admiramos😮. Puede ser vuestro padre, madre, médico, alguien famoso, vuestro primo... podéis describi a quien queráis, pero tiene que ser alguien a quien admiréis.

Tendréis que usar el verbo "to be" + adjetivos (de personalidad y de apariencia física) y "have got". Voy a adjuntar un ejemplo con la descripción de una persona que yo conozco. Podéis basaros en el ejemplo, pero no os lo copiéis, porque lo notaré. Tampoco pongáis el texto en el google traductor, porque creedme que también lo noto, y me lo apunto.

Tenéis hasta el JUEVES para hacerlo. Podéis hacerlo en un documento de word o en vuesta libreta, no me importa; pero tenéis que enviarme vuestro trabajo al correo para que yo pueda corregirlo.
