ENGLISH. LESSON 5

Good morning!

How are you? I am sleepy and hungry (as always).

How is the past simple going? Do you understand the difference between regular and irregular verbs? Do you need more help? Please, if you don't understand irregular verbs yet, ask me and I'll send you some videos that could help.

Today we are going to keep revising the irregular verbs. I hope you are studying every day!!!!!!! The first day of school I will check if you have been studying or not 😈.
What are we going to do today?

1. I am going to attach the answers to the worksheet that I sent you the other day:

 Check your answers with mine and tell me if you have any doubt.

2. Here you have a reading worksheet. In this activity, you will practice past simple - regular verbs.
You don't need to print the worksheet, you can copy the questions and answer in your notebook.
You have until Monday to do it.






The first thing that I want you to do, is to underline the IRREGULAR verbs that appear in the text. If you can't print the worksheet, don't worry, it's fine. You can copy the verbs in your notebook.
 In the last question, you need to try to do the same thing that Marta did. You have to tell me about what you did last week. In my opinion, it will be easier if you divide the week and talk about what you did each day. You can send me the last question by email.

4. To finish, you need to keep studying irregular verbs. Next week we will do something similar to what we did in Science. You will complete a small test about the past simple. Relax, it will be really easy.




Buenos días a todos. ¿Cómo estáis?
Yo adormilada y hambrienta (como siempre).
¿Cómo va el pasado simple? ¿Entendéis la diferencia entre los verbos regulares y los irregulares? ¿Necestiáis más ayuda? Por favor, si no entendéis los verbos irregulares todavía, preguntadme y os mandaré más vídeos que os ayudarán a entenderlo mejor.

Hoy vamos a seguir repasando los verbos irregulares. ¡Espero que estéis estudiando todos los días! El primer día de cole comprobaré si habéis estado estudiando o no 😈.

¿Qué vamos a hacer hoy?

1. Os adjunto las respuestas de la ficha que os envié el martes. Podéis corregirla y, si tenéis alguna duda, me consultáis.

2. Os adjunto una ficha en la cual vais a hacer una "reading activity". Tenéis un reading en el cual mi famosa amiga Marta (a la que todos conocéis) os cuenta qué hizo la semana pasada.
Lo primero que quiero que hagáis es que SUBRAYÉIS o ESCRIBÁIS todos los verbos en pasado que veáis. Si podéis imprimir la ficha, lo subrayáis. Si no podéis imprimir la ficha, no pasa nada, copiad los verbos en la libreta.

Después, leéis el texto con tranquilidad y contestáis a las preguntas. En la primera pregunta debéis decir si las afirmaciones son verdaderas o falsas. Si son falsas, las corregís.
En la segunda pregunta, tenéis que contestar a las preguntas con la información que tenéis arriba en el texto.
En la última, os pido que hagáis lo mismo que ha hecho Marta y me contéis qué hicisteis la semana pasada. Mi consejo es que hagáis como ella y lo dividáis por días: el lunes..., el martes...

4. Para acabar, quiero que sigáis estudiando los verbos irregulares. La semana que viene haremos algo parecido como lo que hemos hecho en science. Tendréis que rellenar un mini-examen. No os preocupéis, será súper fácil.

PD: Soy consciente de que algunos estáis agobiados con "tantos" deberes y trabajos. Tenéis que pensar que no estamos de vacaciones, y la seño Antonia y yo estamos haciendo todo lo posible para  seguir una "normalidad".
Pesad que en un día normal, pasaríais cinco horas en el cole, con recreo incluido. Podéis tomaroslo como algo parecido. No es que os estemos mandando muchos deberes para hacer después del cole, sino que lo que os estamos mandando sería lo que haríais con nosotras en clase, y así cuando volvamos no estaréis tan perdidos.
