ENGLISH. LESSON 3.

Good morning to all of you! How are you doing?
I hope you had a nice long weekend. I am doing great, I am studying German, playing board games with my family and trying to keep up with all your work.
I am very proud of you for everything you are doing. Most people have sent me the writing with your trips, which were VERY interesting 😍 I loved watching your photos. Also, I am already receiving some videos and they are veeeeeeeery funny! I can see you are doing your best to keep learning.

Today we are going to learn something "relatively" new. We are going to continue with the past simple, but we are taking one step forward towards...IRREGULAR VERBS.

In these videos, I explain everything you need to know, I hope it's perfectly clear and you have no doubts.

In the first video, I review what we have already learned: PAST SIMPLE-REGULAR VERBS.

In the second video, I review the three verbs that we already know (to do/to have/to go) and I teach you the new verbs that we are going to study.

Here you have the document with the verbs that you need to learn.

HOMEWORK:
You have to write the three columns (affirmative, interrogative and negative) of THREE DIFFERENT VERBS. Of course, it can't be the verbs that we already learned or the verb "to say" that I explained in the video. You need to take a picture and send it to me FOR TOMORROW.
For example:

Also, I want you to write 5 different sentences in the past simple using irregular verbs. At least, one sentence has to be in interrogative and another sentence in negative. The five sentences have to be with 5 different verbs. Do not use the same verb for the five sentences. You must write the five sentences in a comment.
This is for THURSDAY.

For example:
Did you read Harry Potter last year?
I went to the supermarket yesterday.
What did you say?
Roal Dahl wrote many books for children.
My sister ate pizza last week.

To finish, you should start studying the verbs that I have attached to you. You don't need to memorize the verbs in one day. This takes time. However, I don't want you to sit around on your laurels because then you will feel stressed and you'll have to learn them by heart in one night.
RECOMMENDATION: Memorize four or five each day, and review the ones that you memorized the previous days.

I miss you so much 💔

Hoy vamos a aprender algo "relativamente" nuevo.

Did you read Harry Potter last year?
I went to the supermarket yesterday.
What did you say?
Roal Dahl wrote many books for children.
My sister ate pizza last week.

      Sería; We didn't see butterflies
      ¿entiendes?

    1. Hola, Amaya.
Las oraciones en negativa e interrogativa, revisalas.
Recordemos que: si ya hemos puesto el DID, el verbo NO va en pasado, sino en presente, por lo que sería:
My sister didn't HAVE the homework
      Did they DO the homework?

      ¿entiendes?
